Maintenance
Prolonging the Life of Your Electric Bicycle
When starting gradually turn the throttle on the handlebars to accelerate slowly.
Instantaneous acceleration can waste electric energy and damage electric parts. It will be
more effective if the start is assisted with pedaling.
When going up a slope pedaling puts less strain on the motor and saves battery
power.Try to avoid frequent starts and braking to save your battery. The less you start from a dead
stop will help you to save power while accelerating.
You can extend the life of your battery by pedaling up to speed and use the throttle control just to
maintain your pace.
- The controller of the electric bicycle has the function of under voltage protection. When the
- voltage of the battery is insufficient, the controller can cut off the supply automatically.
- The electric bike must be parked in a well ventilated place free from rain and direct
- sunlight.
Charging Your Electric Bike
1. Turn off the power and remove the key before connecting battery to the charger
2. When charging keep out of reach of children, they should not play with wires to prevent electric shock.
3. Keep charger and battery away from water and moisture to prevent short circuits and electric shock.
4. Use only the supplied charger for charging the battery to your electric bike. It should not be replaced with other charging equipment. This could cause the battery to leak or explode.
5. When charging charger should not be covered by any objects to prevent the charger from overheating.
6. Make sure the charger and wires are kept properly. Do not use the charger if you see cuts in the wire.
7. Keep battery away from high temperatures and moisture. Do not charge in direct sunlight.
8. Keep battery away from flammable materials. In case of fire it could explode and could cause injury or death.
